Music is a big part of how I write. Many times while I am writing a scene, I will choose a song that fits the mood of the story and listen to it on repeat until the scene or chapter is finished. For Sage, Smoke and Fire, I made a playlist of songs that reflect the current mood, character, theme or situation for each chapter.
